Degenerate, foul mouthed country from the Midwest and synth punk re-workings of old country/gospel tracks from Sweden. Triple C start the affair off strong with depraved, fucked up country jams, equally catchy, gross & a breath of fresh air amidst all the pummeling punk. “The Only Thing I’m Fuckin' Is Up” is a ridiculous earworm you just can’t shake, “Arkansas Cigarettes” showcases the bands experimental side and “Piss Hard, Cum Harder” is the slow, country ballad that makes you wonder how anyone can keep a straight face. The three tracks from Unga Joacim are re-imaginations of some classic country/gospel songs sung in Swedish and done in Unga’s signature weirdo synth punk. Track one is a wild re-working of Hank Williams’ “Lord Build Me A Cabin”, the second track is a twisted ass version of “Washed In Blood”, a Christian hymn written in the late 1800s. Track three, “Upp Och Hoppas”, is a barely recognizable cover of “Rise And Shine” by Tommy Cash. All three songs were fleshed out and worked on to beat a case of writers block and we get the opportunity to document that whole strange thing. Limited to 25 copies on two-tone, black and white shells.
